We are what we eat!
“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.”
Keeping this wonderful quote in mind, grandparents of Grade I children of MRIS 46 were invited to the classroom to share the importance of healthy food and exercise with kids. This activity was organized as a part of the theme “We are what we eat”. In this very interactive session grandparents shared with kids the food, life style and the outdoor games of their times, which has helped them to stay fit and active. They also discussed the negative effects of junk food. Children enjoyed the wonderful session with grandparents and relished the yummy healthy food brought by them.
