Examination & Evaluation
Assessment plays a key role in the progress of the school curriculum. It helps to diagnose the progress of the group as well as individual.
We have updated our Evaluation Policy on the guidelines provided by CBSE’s CCE initiative and now have continuous and comprehensive evaluation all through the academic year. Our overall Evaluation System is two-fold i.e. Formative Evaluation and Summative Evaluation.
Grade I-III
The school focuses on stress free comprehensive and continuous assessment in Grade I, II & III.
Unannounced short multiple assessments form a part of the evaluation system in these grades. Thorough revision is done in the school itself before the child is assessed. These assessments are both formative and summative in nature.
Children are assessed on the basis of
- • Pencil and paper review
- • Show & Tell
- • Elocution
- • Reading
- • Conversational Skills
- • Thinking Skills
- • Group Discussions
- • Projects and Presentations
- • Participation and Inquiry
All assessments, formative & summative are then reviewed and a cumulative subject grade given.
Grade IV, V
- • Unit Tests are conducted from Gr. IV upwards every Tuesday. There will be three cycles of Unit Tests in an academic session.
- • Unit Tests will be conducted in all subjects except Computer Science and General Knowledge.
- • Each Unit Test is of 30 marks. The paper carries content testing of 25 marks and practical testing of 5 marks.

Grade VI – X
Evaluation Policy from Gr. VI-X is strictly as per the CBSE norms. Academic year is divided into two Semesters, March- September & October-March.
