It has been found that parent involvement has a positive and significant impact on children’s overall performance. MRIS 46 has adopted practices that encourage parents to become active and involved partners in their children’s schooling thereby facilitating the teaching learning process.

Since parent involvement relates positively to students achievement, parents are encouraged to participate in their child’s educationin a variety of ways. Parent link programmes include direct parent involvement via volunteer programees, participation in non-academic activities etc. From time to time parent are invited to participate in activities like rangoli making, face painting and storytelling sessions.
