Workshop on Balance Between Nutrition and Healthy Eating
Yet another session on “Nutrition and healthy eating “ was conducted for the students of MRIS, Sector 46, Gurgaon grade IV by Ms Praveena, a renowned nutritionist. It was an enlightening session wherein the students were apprised of benefits of healthy eating and leading an active lifestyle, by implementing it into practice, for life. They were also explained about nutrition,considered in relation to the body’s dietary needs, Good nutrition i.e an adequate, well balanced diet combined with regular physical activity – is a cornerstone of good health. Poor nutrition can lead to reduced immunity, increased susceptibility to disease, impaired physical and mental development, and reduced productivity.
The session ended with a short video on the above topic.
